Common Ground Mediation volunteers work in Small Claims and FED or Residential Eviction Courts as well as in their communities.

 

The court system recommends trying mediation before filing. It can provide an opportunity to mediate claims between the official filing and the court hearing. This recommendation / opportunity applies to all filed suits including:

• Consumer and merchant disputes

• Debtor / creditor suits

• Eviction cases

​

• Landlord/tenant cases other than evictions
